The Challenge

Internal processes needed digitization, clarity and transparency. Sales had to expend lots of effort to meet orders and customer requests. In parallel, customers’ ordering processes were not unified and mostly analogous.

Target Audience & Problem Solving

The sales department and its customers. The sales staff should be provided with a possibility to map their numerous processes in a bundled way. At the same time, the retailer was to be given the option of handling order processes digitally. As a result, an e-commerce platform was developed that meets all these needs.

Project Requirements

The requirement was to determine the exact needs of the target group in such detail that an all-round solution could be built. Digitalization gaps from the past were to be closed and processes simplified. / Connections & interfacesCustomized connections to internal systems and interaction with a wide variety of interfaces. / User-centricThe app was designed for sales and customers, to facilitate complex processes. / Efficient inputOften times barcode scanners are being used for creating orders, which the app can also make use of. / iOS & AndroidHybrid app as an adaptation to different operating systems.

Our Solution

At the beginning, the operation was put under the microscope. It was important to learn about the processes in order to understand them and be able to map them digitally based on that. Then interviews were conducted with the target group to validate assumptions made. Together with the users, we found out which functions the product needed. Afterwards, the whole thing was poured into a product roadmap and developed.
